Dining in Beaver Creek is a particular highlight, with over 20 unique restaurants and mountain cabins. WHAT IS THE SKIING LIKE AT beaver creek?


Skiing at Beaver Creek encompasses over 2,000 acres of meticulously groomed terrain spanning 150 trails and 25 lifts. The resort caters to all levels: about 19% beginner, 43% intermediate, and 38% advanced runs, including dedicated learning zones, beautiful blue slopes, and challenging black diamond runs like the Birds of Prey World Cup course. The snow quality and maintenance are top-notch, making the mountain ideal for both first-timers and seasoned skiers.

Beginners
You benefit from nearly 20–28% of the terrain being designated as green (easy), including unique summit-accessible green trails like Red Buffalo. Dedicated beginner areas serviced by the Buckaroo Gondola, Haymeadow Park, and Arrowhead Mountain provide gentle slopes and world-class instruction, making it comfortable for first-timers to learn while enjoying mountain views.

Intermediates
You have an abundance of blue runs, comprising almost half the groomed terrain. Favourites include Centennial, Redtail, and cruisers in Larkspur Bowl and Bachelor Gulch. The resort offers groomed trails, mellow moguls, and easy glades for those looking to progress their skills, supported by low crowd levels on many runs.

Advanced/expert skiers
You will find about 38% of the mountain dedicated to steep blacks and double-black terrain. Highlights include the Birds of Prey World Cup course, Grouse Mountain’s expert moguls, technical tree runs, and challenging off-piste routes like Stone Creek Chutes

Not to mention, you also have access to fabled Vail Mountain approx. 15 min. away by bus.
