The town of Jackson itself exudes a vibrant Wild West charm, with boutique shops, galleries, and an authentic western atmosphere that blends rustic tradition with modern amenities. It is about a 20-minute drive from the resort base area, Teton Village, which offers convenient ski-in/ski-out accommodations and mountain services.
For dining, Jackson Hole features an eclectic mix of eateries ranging from cozy mountain lodges to upscale restaurants with local and international cuisine. Popular options include spots with hearty mountain fare, fresh local ingredients, and lively après-ski atmospheres that cater to all tastes after a day on the slopes.
Accommodation is divided between Teton Village at the base of Apres Vous Mountain, ideal for die-hard skiers and the town of Jackson Hole, some 20 minutes away where most of the action is.

Beginner (Green): 10%
For beginners, Jackson Hole offers dedicated beginner zones served by lifts like Teewinot and Eagle’s Rest, supported by a world-class ski school to build confidence in mellow, welcoming slopes.
Intermediate (Blue): 40%
Intermediate skiers have about 40% of the terrain available, consisting of wide, groomed blue runs accessed by lifts such as the Apres Vous and Casper Chair. These runs provide scenic and exciting options for skill progression.
Advanced/Expert (Black): 50%
Advanced and expert skiers will find 50% of the mountain's terrain geared towards steep, technical challenges, including famous runs like Corbet’s Couloir. The expert terrain features steep pitches, moguls, cliffs, and demanding chutes, making Jackson Hole a premier destination for expert-level skiing.

Jackson Hole Ski Resort is suitable for families, offering a comprehensive range of family-friendly amenities and activities. The resort features the Kids Ranch, a licensed childcare facility and ski school for children aged 3 to 17, providing lessons, environmental programs, and fun outdoor activities designed to engage kids and help them learn skiing in a supportive environment. For younger children (6-36 months), daycare services are also available at the base in Teton Village.
The terrain includes dedicated beginner areas such as the Teewinot zone and gentle green slopes ideal for kids and novices, supported by the Mountain Sports School, which provides expert instruction for children and adults alike.
