Our cruises depart or end in Bergen which is less than 2hrs by train from the ski resorts of Voss and Myrkdalen and only 3hrs by scenic train to Geilo resort.

Explore this vibrant town and visit the famous Polar Museum.
Join your ship here for 4 nights/5 days cruising down the Norwegian coastline, visiting places such as the spectacular Lofoten Islands and hop on and hop off the ship one or twice a day to visit various small ports and cities such as Trondheim.
Enjoy Full Board during your voyage with dellcious local fayre served and relax in the sauna or hot tubs or just read a book as the shop sails slowly along the stunning coastline.
We can book pre or post hotels in Bergen or Tromso as well as the trains to the ski resorts. Fly back from either Bergen or Oslo depending on your choice of ski resorts.

Havila Voyages is a Norwegian travel company offering a unique way to explore Norway’s stunning coastline, combining classic coastal transport with modern, sustainable travel experiences. Their itineraries follow the historic Norwegian Coastal Express route between Bergen in the southwest and Kirkenes in the far northeast, a journey that has connected coastal communities for over 130 years.

Voyages range from short 2–3-day coastal trips to longer voyages that span the full route. Signature options include the 12-day round-trip from Bergen to Kirkenes and back, visiting all 34 ports along the coast, and shorter northbound (Bergen → Kirkenes) or southbound (Kirkenes → Bergen) itineraries of 6–7 days. These sailings showcase iconic Norwegian highlights such as Geirangerfjord, the Arctic Circle, North Cape, Tromsø, and the Lofoten Islands, as well as scenic stretches like the Atlantic Ocean Road and Helgeland coast.

In addition to full-length cruises, Havila Voyages offers short coastal escapes, such as 3-day trips between Bergen and Trondheim, Trondheim to Tromsø, or Tromsø to Kirkenes. These shorter itineraries let travellers enjoy dramatic fjords, Arctic landscapes, northern lights or midnight sun - perfect for those with limited time.
The company’s fleet consists of four modern, environmentally focused ships - Havila Capella, Havila Castor, Havila Polaris, and Havila Pollux - each accommodating about 640 passengers. These vessels are powered by hybrid LNG and battery systems, enabling up to four hours of quiet, zero-emission sailing through sensitive fjord areas, making them some of the most sustainable ships operating on this route.

Onboard experiences emphasize Nordic comfort and cuisine, with spacious cabins reflecting local landscapes and menus featuring dishes made from fresh, local Norwegian ingredients.

CABINS
On board the ships, the spacious cabins with typical Nordic décor are designed for relaxation and a good night's sleep.

Most of the cabins have sea views, while others are located inside the ship. Some of these are small, with just two beds and make an inexpensive alternative if 1you are not travelling far. The cabins and suites range from 16m² to 45m², and can accommodate up to four people. All cabins have wifi and USB ports.

INTERIOR
Interior cabins offer a smart and affordable retreat, thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. These cozy spaces are perfect for unwinding after a day of coastal adventures. Ranging from the standard Interior size of 8-10 m², to the larger Accessible version of 16-18 m², these cabins offer comfort in efficient layouts, perfect for all explorers and adventurers alike.

SEAVIEW SUPERIOR
Seaview Superior Double cabins are on average 15 m² and have a picture window. There are double bed cabins with a sofa bed for up to 4 persons. All cabins have a large wardrobe, desk and a separate bathroom with shower. TV, refrigerator and hairdryer.

Enjoy twin beds in the spacious Seaview Superior Twin cabins. The cabins fit two persons. All cabins have a large wardrobe, desk and a separate bathroom with shower. TV, refrigerator and hairdryer.

Enjoy their upgraded Seaview Superior King Cabins - now with bigger beds. In addition to the king-size bed, the cabin features an upgraded coffee machine, bathrobes, and slippers. On Capella and Castor, the cabin includes a desk with a comfortable chair and a separate relax chair. On Polaris and Pollux, the cabin includes two armchairs and a coffee table.

Aft View Superior Double
From this cabin with a straight-aft view, you can watch the ship's gentle wake disappear into the horizon. This peaceful retreat offers a unique perspective as we sail through dramatic fjords and along Norway’s ever-changing coastline – a perfect blend of comfort and scenery.

SUITES
Enjoy suites with floor-to-ceiling windows or private balconies. Placed at the best locations such as the bow, stern or upper decks, the suites will maximize your connection to the surrounding scenery. Enjoy added perks like a welcome pack, bathrobes, and breakfast and lunch options in Hildring fine dining.

You’ll enjoy priority check-in and skip the lines in Bergen. Once on board, a glass of something sparkling awaits you, along with a small welcome gift in your cabin. In the evenings, your cabin is quietly refreshed.

You can start your day with breakfast or lunch in Hildring, a quieter restaurant with limited capacity, or in the main restaurant Havrand. Please note that it is not possible to reserve a table for breakfast in Hildring, and it may be fully occupied at times, but the same excellent menu is served in both restaurants. With the Havly Café package included, you can pop by the café anytime - it’s open 24/7. The selection is simpler at night, but there’s always something. And yes, there’s good specialty coffee. Always.

FULL BOARD DINING PACKAGE
For breakfast, there is a selection of cheeses, jams, cold cuts, vegetables and fruits, baked goods and hot dishes. The menu varies depending on where we are on the coastal line. Order as many dishes as you like, and enjoy your own selection at your breakfast table in peace and quiet, while being served hot and cold drinks.

For lunch and dinner, Havila Voyages offers a range of options. They recommend you to order at least three small dishes for a satisfying lunch. For dinner, they recommend three courses (starter, main dish, and dessert).
